JOB DETAILS:
Position Summary
• The Executive Assistant will ensure the efficient operation of the Office of the CEO and provides high- level administrative support services to the CEO. Board Members, and other leadership staff. Handles confidential information and engages in frequent contact with all levels of employees. The EA will also coordinate all efforts for handling day to day tasks assisting CEO and other leadership staff.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist the CEO in preparing and distributing correspondence, reports and other material relating to AKES, T matters.
• Organize and prioritize incoming correspondence for action by the
• Maintain the CEO’s schedule and calendar, providing reminders for meetings and scheduling as appropriate
• Develop and maintain a well-organized filing system for all correspondence, reports and reference material related to the CEO’s work.
• Support the CEO, Board and the Senior Management Team with agendas and minutes of all meetings
• Notify Board members and Corporate Secretary of Board meetings with sufficient notice.
• Maintain accurate records of Board and SMT meetings – notice, attendance and minutes in a well- organized filing system.

Requirement
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration
• Diploma in Secretarial Studies from an accredited college
• At least three years working experience in similar position
• Proficiency in English and Microsoft Office packages
• Good understanding and experience in office management
• Flexibility to work on occasional weekends and after office hours

Qualifications

• Diploma/ Bachelor degree in human resources management, business administration or relevant discipline
• At least 1+ year experience as a ProjectAdmin Officer
• Knowledge on HR related matters is a plus
• Encouraging applicants from “Kagera”region
• Familiarity with Tanzania labor laws
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Strong in oral and written communication in English incl. interviewing skills
• Database management, record keeping and reporting
• Age range from 25 to 30 years
