Job Responsibilities
The Job Holder is responsible over:
• Providing transverse expertise for mechanical rotating machinery across ALL field of activities (design, qualification, supply / manufacturing, documentation for construction, construction, pre-com. / comm, requirements for operation) related to pipeline at large – covering ca. 1.5Bn USD of design, supply and construction activities
• Insuring overall coherency of mechanical rotating machinery design, fabrication, testing, commissioning and start-up with good industry practices and respect of code / technical standards requirements
• Ensuring the technical solutions selected are optimised (cost and schedule) and present ALARP risks ACTIVITIES
• To support Pipeline, AGI (Above Ground Installations) and Marine Terminal Package Managers and Procurement Management on mechanical rotating machinery matters during the Call for Tender phase to ensure a clear definition of the technical scope of work and interfaces between contracts, reviewing bidders proposed execution plan and schedule.
• Supervision and approval of mechanical rotating machinery related detailed design activities and deliverables by EPcm and vendors.
• Supporting Engineering Manager in advising on and supporting qualification activities, linked to the use of new or non-standard / common technology for EACOP
• Audit and vetting of equipment and service providers for the mechanical rotating machinery related procurement and construction
• Coordinate mechanical rotating machinery expertise and actions with EPcm contractor counterparts, and within EACOP technical team with other Disciplines.
• Reporting to the technical project manager on compliance to technical standards, design, supply / manufacturing and construction issues, risks to schedule and budget, etc.
• To identify and propose mitigation of project risks
• To adopt and demonstrate exemplary behaviour with regard H3SE and H3SE rules implementation
• To adopt and demonstrate exemplary behaviour with regard to ethics and project “code of conduct” policy
• To participate to meetings with partners, authorities and other stakeholders as required. • To carry out any other duties or tasks that may be required by the position
Qualifications & Experience Required
• Degree: MSc or Bachelor (or equivalent formal qualification) in a recognized Engineering discipline
• Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil &Gas Industry with similar large-scale projects & onshore.
• Professional training in rotating machinery related design, fabrication, testing, commissioning, etc.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural business environment. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• English as mother tongue or Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
• Excellent knowledge of engineering practices, international codes and standards.
• Expertise in rotating machinery related installation methods and techniques.
• Good understanding of Contractual relationships in EPC / Construction projects

Qualification:
