JOB DETAILS:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To receive and process applications for insurance covers and loans requests.
• Ensure the policy requirements are fulfilled including the compilation of appropriate forms
• Assist customers in properly completing insurance applications in order to act as an insurance intermediary between the company and insurance company.
• Inspect property and take pictures in order to examine its overall condition and decide its insurance risk.
• To attend different training accordingly as it will be directed by insurance principle companies, TRA and other industry stakeholders
• Advice and train customers according to the insurance products that will satisfy his/her need.
• To make follow up on matured insurance covers so as to renew it.
• To underwrite the insurance policy purchased by a client.
• Research and analyze potential markets, advertise loan products, and develop referral networks to locate prospects for loans.
• Review loan agreements to make sure that they are completely accurate according to policy and compute payments schedules. Review as well as update credit loan files
• Any other duties will be assigned by the supervisor

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of Degree in any Business studies
• Minimum qualifications in insurance is must
• Computer literate
• Experience in sales will be an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
• Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, Physical meet customers
• Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
• Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
• Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
• Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations
• Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
• Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
• Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
• Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
Requirements and skills
• Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role
• Proficiency in English and Swahili
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus
