Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Physiotherapist
• Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy
• 3+ years’ experience in the field Of Physiotherapy
• Ability and readiness to work in the environment of children with disabilities.
• The ability to build and maintain rapport to children with disabilities.
• Making assessments of patients’ physical conditions.
• Preparation & planning for surgery and the post-operative rehabilitation
• Assisting children with disabilities how to walk again
• Planning and organizing physiotherapy and fitness programs
• Ability to train and strong in team work. Tolerance and patience to children with disabilities.
• Ability and readiness to discover, work and discuss with the management the concerns for children physical development with a passion to help children.
• Strong analytical, communication and narrative report writing.
• Computer knowledge will be of an added advantage.

JOB DETAILS: Position Summary:
• The Senior Laboratory Project Officer – HIV Recency Surveillance is a self-motivated individual who will work in close collaboration with the MoH though NHL-QATC, R/CHMTs and REPFAR Implementing partners in coordinating recency training and provision of technical assistance. She/He will be responsible to coordinate and oversee all activities related to HIV RT recency surveillance including collection of recent samples, production of PT/QC samples, coordinate training in collaboration with partners and MOH to activate new HIV recent sites and conduct site monitoring activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• 1.Work with NHL-QATC to ensure timely production and distribution of recency samples to the respective implementing partners and/or testing facilities.
• 2. Expand coverage in search of recency samples characterization for assured stock/supply of recent samples at NPHLQATC.
• 3. Oversee training and mentorship programs to improve search of recency materials from different parts of Tanzania.
• 4. Coordinate safe transportation of recency samples materials from different parts of Tanzania to NPHLQATC.
• 5. In collaboration with the data officer, participate in preparation of M&E weekly, monthly and quarterly based feedback reports to MoH, Donor and IPs.
• 6. Coordinate implementation of recency surveillance protocol in production of training and quality control materials including production of DTS for QC.
• 7. Support analysis and visualization of recency data.
• 8. Organize and conduct Stakeholders meeting to share recency updates as needed.
• 9. Ensure effective execution of the approved workplan and budget to achieve the set targets.
• 10. Prepare, review and submit progress reports weekly, monthly, quarterly and as needed.

Required Education, Work experience and Skills:

JOB DETAILS: Position Summary:
• The Senior Laboratory Project Officer – HEID is a self-motivated individual who will work in close collaboration with the MoH and its relevant institutions such as NACP, NHL-QATC, RHMTs, CHMTs, Development Partners and HEID laboratories to guarantee provision of effective national support in enhancing capacity and efficiency of HEID testing at all levels in the country. Her/his main objective is to guarantee the highest technical/quality, logistical and administrative performance of the HEID samples collection, handling, testing and timely release of accurate results for better patient management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• 1. Work closely with the MOH, PORALG, NACP, NHL-QATC, R/CHMTs and Implementing Partners to ensure provision of technical support to all HEID laboratories and clinics for enhancing the capacity and efficiency of testing.
• 2. Provide capacity building for MCH and Laboratory staff to properly collect, process, package and transport HEID samples.
• 3. Provide technical and logistical supports to R/CHMTs and IPs to achieve effective integration of the EID sample transportation into the national laboratory sample referral system.
• 4. Provide capacity building for R/CHMTs and IPs in successfully implementing interventions to strengthen the quality of DBS samples at clinics and laboratories.
• 5. Design and implement supervisions, training and mentorship programs to improve quality and performance of the HEID testing at clinics and laboratories.
• 6. Design and implement mechanisms to track and monitor the key performance indicators for the HEID
• testing from sample collection at clinics to sample testing in the laboratories.
• 7. Coordinate and participate in periodic meetings with stakeholders to discuss progress and priorities of HEID testing in the country.
• 8. Provide regular assessments and measures to address identified gaps in strengthening HEID testing activities at clinics and laboratories.
• 9. Provide technical and logistical supports to establish and strengthen HEID inter-laboratory networking for enhanced testing capacity and efficiency.
• 10. Ensure effective execution of the approved workplan and budget to achieve the set targets.

PSI is seeking an experienced, dynamic and results-driven Clinical Advisor to lead the implementation of the TMCM project activities in Mtwara, Ruvuma, Lindi and Coast regions. The Clinical Advisor will be responsible for strengthening Case Management (CM) and Malaria in Pregnancy (MIP) prevention primarily by supporting the planning, implementing and data use of Malaria Service Delivery and Quality Improvement (MSDQI) in public and private health facilities in the regions. The position will report to Technical Advisor, Malaria Case Management.
Your contribution
• As the Clinical Advisor, you will be responsible for the overall development, management, and representation of TMCM in Lindi, Mtwara, Coast regions and Ruvuma. She/he will perform the following tasks:
• Support the R/CHMT in planning and conducting Malaria Service Data Quality Improvement (MSDQI) supportive supervision to all health facilities in the regions of implementation. This includes CM and MIP assessment, capacity building, service delivery site strengthening, follow up and supervision, mentoring, and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) across the region.
• Provide technical support to the R/CHMTs to interpret and use CM and MIP programmatic data for decision making. This includes collaborating with the project M&E team to develop and sustain database that monitor key MIP and CM indicators at district and contribute to the district and regional level achievements.
• Work collaboratively with program team members (e.g Technical Advisor – Malaria Diagnostic) to ensure necessary program planning, development, resources availability, and management activities function smoothly and efficiently. This includes organizing workshops, training sessions, and technical meetings in collaboration with the NMCP and local partners stakeholders.
• Conduct regular reporting to the TMCM CoP, the Technical Advisor, and technical staff, as well as the R/CHMT, of successes, challenges and lessons learned in implementation of CM and MIP activities. This includes documenting and maintaining an inventory off successful tools and approaches for CM including development and submission of abstract, papers and presentation to journals and conferences.
What are we looking for?
• Clinical degree (medicine preferred), with demonstrated experience of outreach training, mentoring, and support supervision in health facilities
• At least 6 years’ experience and technical knowledge in Malaria CM and MIP
• Understanding of public health and development approaches and familiarity with Tanzania’ health system, key stakeholders, and relevant government policies and strategies
• Understand of monitoring and evaluation of programs, and relevant government policies and strategies
• Understanding of monitoring and evaluation of programs, and skilled in use of data for decision – making and program management
• Excellent presentation skills and verbal and written communications skills
• Demonstrated self – management and the ability to project a professional, consistent image of confidence, integrity and competence
• Fluent in English and Kiswahili.
