Job Overview

Brewmaster Limited is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Trade Marketing Manager to lead strategies that enhance brand visibility, ensure product availability, and drive sales across retail and distribution channels.

The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of consumer behavior, retail trends, and trade marketing principles, coupled with the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver impactful results and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Trade Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement trade marketing strategies aligned with brand objectives to drive sustainable revenue growth.

2. Retailer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers, distributors, and sales teams to support effective product placement and promotional success.

3. Promotions & Campaigns: Plan and execute in-store promotions, create point-of-sale materials, and develop initiatives that boost product visibility and consumer engagement.

4. Sales Support: Partner with the sales team to craft persuasive trade presentations and sales tools that help achieve targets.

5. Market Insights: Monitor market trends, consumer behaviors, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and inform strategic adjustments.

6. Budgets & Reporting: Manage trade marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective campaign execution and accurate performance reporting.

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with brand, product, and digital marketing teams to ensure alignment across all marketing efforts.

8. Product Launches: Support new product introductions with in-store materials, sales training, and retail distribution strategies.

9. Marketing Strategy Development: Formulate and execute marketing strategies that drive both short- and long-term brand growth.

10. Portfolio Management: Optimize the product portfolio to balance trade and consumer objectives.

11. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the trade marketing team to maximize performance and growth.

12. Competitor Reaction Management: Track and respond strategically to competitor movements in the market.

13. Marketing Platform Management: Oversee digital and traditional marketing platforms supporting trade marketing initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or certifications preferred).

Experience: Minimum 3 years in trade marketing, brand management, or retail marketing — ideally within the beverage industry.

License: Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of digital marketing (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing).

Proficiency in marketing tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, MailChimp, and Hootsuite.

Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to lead teams, manage cross-functional campaigns, and communicate effectively.

Analytical Ability: Strong data-driven mindset to analyze, optimize, and report on marketing performance and ROI.

Creativity & Detail Orientation: Innovative problem solver with keen attention to detail and business growth opportunities.

Skills & Attributes

  • Deep understanding of retail and distribution channels.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong project management and multitasking capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); CRM familiarity is an advantage.
