Job Summary:
This role is responsible for the efficient receiving, storage, dispatch, and management of inventory and materials within a warehouse or store. They ensure accurate record-keeping and a tidy, safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Handling: Receive, unload, and shelve incoming materials and products. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
  • Stock Management: Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts. Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records in the system.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Quality & Safety: Inspect incoming and stored goods for damage. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all safety guidelines.
  • Documentation: Process shipping and receiving documents, such as delivery notes, packing slips, and purchase orders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, store, or logistics role is preferred.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills for counting and recording inventory.
  • Ability to operate a forklift (with relevant certification) is often required.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for long periods.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
