Job Purpose:

The role focuses on delivering innovative Transaction Banking solutions such as Cash Management, Payments, Collections, and Liquidity Optimization to Corporate Clients. It drives client acquisition, revenue growth, and operational efficiency through advanced onboarding frameworks and liquidity structures like pooling and sweeping. Operating under strict governance and regulatory standards, the role ensures global quality execution while supporting clients in optimizing cash flows and working capital.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior Manager in evaluating market trends and identifying opportunities for Transaction Banking products.
  • Design and develop innovative solutions aligned with business strategy and client needs, in collaboration with ICT and market research teams.
  • Lead product lifecycle activities including test case development, UAT, documentation of product programs, and process flows.
  • Ensure timely implementation of solutions and maintain an updated Transaction Banking pipeline.
  • Monitor product performance, prepare periodic reports, and recommend improvements to enhance revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct profitability analysis of product lines and oversee portfolio quality in line with risk management guidelines.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk frameworks for all solutions.
  • Stay updated on AML/TBML risks and support policy reviews to maintain compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams for contract documentation and regulatory approvals.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (ICT, Operations, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Procurement) to deliver solutions and onboard vendors.
  • Provide training to internal teams and make solution presentations to clients showcasing digital capabilities.
  • Address customer production issues and resolve incidents through root cause analysis.
  • Support periodic review of internal policies, product programs, and procedures.
  • Ensure robust support models for all solutions and address business process failures promptly.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Background in Transaction Banking products and procedures including related digital solutions
  • Project management skills and good understanding of structuring solutions.
  • Well versed in local industry regulations and guidelines
  • Understanding of client segmentation and collaborative approach in working with cross functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of products in banking and financial services sector
  • Technical skills in digital solutions
  • Communication skills, both written and oral
  • Project management and business planning skills
  • Risk management, credit, and strong analytical skills
  • Interpersonal and networking skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to keep abreast of industry changes in both the business and marketing environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Business, Computer Science, Finance, or related fields
  • Master’s degree in business studies is an added advantage
  • Certification in Project Management is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a Transaction Banking Role
  • Experience in product management and driving products is an added advantage.
