Job Purpose

The purpose of a Senior Sales Engineer is to drive revenue growth by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities through a combination of technical expertise and sales acumen.

Key Accountabilities

  • Drive sales growth in the Building & Construction sector through active engagement with contractors, developers, and project stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular site visits to identify opportunities and follow up on ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across construction projects nationwide.
  • Prepare commercial offers and support technical coordination in line with project requirements.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming developments within the construction sector.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets while ensuring adherence to company pricing and commercial policies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely supply, project execution, and customer satisfaction
  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth.
  • Lead the end-to-end bid and tender processes, ensuring compliance with technical and commercial requirements.
  • Support management in developing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the construction sector.
  • Provide information to the risk review process in accordance to engineering proposals that meet customer’s technical requirements
  • Managing and interpreting customer requirements
  • Meets Sales targets for the assigned market(s) through our partners and in accordance with the overall policies and objectives.
  • Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests
  • Collect documentation regarding the offer/ order and records.
  • Contribute to the development of new market opportunities supporting managers/ sales team.
  • Manage and collaborate with front end sales team
  • Preparation of technical and financial aspects of the offer, marketing materials to on sell service range indicating prices and trading conditions.
  • Analyze and evaluate specific technical issues and associated risks.
  • Develop various sales reports and sales activity reports
  • Provide technical support to Sales Managers.
  • Any other duty assigned by your supervisor.

  • Years of experience: 5
  • Academic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or any other related fields
  • Language proficiency: English & Swahili
