Responsibilities or duties
Under the direct supervision and guidance of the Repairs Manager, the Tablet Repair Technicians will perform the following tasks:
- Diagnose hardware and software faults in tablets.
- Perform tablets disassembly, repair, and reassembly.
- Conduct soldering, desoldering and component-level repairs.
- Carry out quality control checks after repairs
- Maintain repairs logs and activity reports.
- Test repaired tablets before release.
Key Deliverables & Outputs
- Successfully repaired a daily average number of 7 tablets
- Successfully performed a quality control (QC) of the repaired tablets before release.
- Documented the repair logs and activity reports.
Nature of Engagement & Repeatability
This contract is a short-term, on-call technical engagement lasting for 22 business days per block. Because tablet returns and deployment batches occur dynamically throughout the project lifecycle, this arrangement will be repeated upon organizational need. Re-engagement will be subject to satisfactory performance during prior cycles, workload availability, and written approval from the Repairs Manager.

- Basic electrical and charging system knowledge
- Quality assurance and quality control awareness
- Record keeping and technical reporting
- Strong problem-solving and attention to details
Qualifications & Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree, Diploma or Certificate, in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, ICT, or a related technical discipline.
- 1-2 years of practical repairs experience.
- Experience in repairing tablets, routers, or similar devices is an advantage. (Highly recommended)
