Background

Our client, a leading telecommunication company, is seeking a skilled Regional Operations Lead. The successful candidate will coordinate and oversee the daily operations of passive telecom sites within the assigned region. The role ensures site availability, manages preventive and corrective maintenance, supervises contractors, enforces safety compliance, and provides timely operational reports to management.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily operations of assigned telecom sites to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Support the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
  • Monitor power, fuel, and security status at sites and escalate issues promptly.
  • Supervise field technicians and contractors during site activities.
  • Ensure safe work practices and adherence to company procedures.
  • Provide first-level guidance and support to site teams.
  • Monitor and report on site availability and uptime performance.
  • Ensure timely incident response and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.
  • Escalate recurring issues for root cause analysis.
  • Ensure all site activities comply with company HSE standards.
  • Conduct regular checks on safety practices and escalate non-compliance.
  • Maintain daily/weekly/monthly reports on site status, maintenance activities, and outages.
  • Share operational updates with the Regional Manager for decision-making.

Skills & Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Telecommunications Engineering.
  • 4+ years of experience in telecom operations, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of passive infrastructure systems (power, cooling, towers, fuel management).
  • Excellent team coordination and contractor management skills.
  • Strong reporting, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid EUWRA Certificate/License.
  • Possession of PMP or any other relevant professional certification.
  • Valid ERB License.
