WHAT YOU WILL DO

Job Overview

You will be responsible for attracting, sourcing, assessing, and hiring high-quality candidates to meet the organization’s workforce needs. The role supports the full recruitment lifecycle while strengthening employer branding and ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Selection

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for assigned roles
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and workforce needs
  • Develop and post job advertisements across relevant platforms
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, networks, and referrals
  • Screen CVs, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate assessments
  • Arrange and participate in interviews with hiring panels
  • Prepare offers of employment and manage pre-employment checks
  • Exposure to executive search, campus recruitment, or regional talent mobility across Tanzania

Talent Sourcing & Employer Branding

  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
  • Promote the organization’s employer brand across recruitment channels
  • Representing the organization at career fairs and recruitment events (if applicable)

Stakeholder & Candidate Management

  • Act as a key point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Provide timely communication and feedback to candidates and hiring managers
  • Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure recruitment practices comply with employment legislation and internal policies
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and data
  • Prepare recruitment reports and metrics (time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, etc.)

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and systems
  • Stay up to date with recruitment trends, tools, and best practices
  • Support broader HR initiatives as required

WHAT YOU NEED

Degree in Human Resources or related field

2–4 years’ experience in recruitment or talent acquisition

Experience working with hiring managers across multiple functions

Knowledge of Tanzania Labour Law and compliances

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong interviewing and assessment skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities simultaneously
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and recruitment best practices
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
