JOB DETAILS:

Recreation Manager

Department: Recreation

Reports To: Rooms Division Manager / General Manager

Job Purpose

Plan, organize, and manage all recreational activities and facilities to provide exceptional guest experiences while ensuring safety, operational efficiency, and compliance with hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of all recreational facilities.
• Develop recreational programs and activities for guests of all ages.
• Supervise recreation staff and ensure excellent customer service.
• Ensure swimming pools, beaches, gyms, and activity areas are safe and well-maintained.
• Prepare departmental budgets and control operational costs.
• Coordinate recreational events and entertainment programs.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct staff training and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate with other departments to support guest activities and special events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Management, Hospitality Management, Sports Management, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in recreation or leisure operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
