Tecic is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Project Manager to lead project execution, field operations, resources, and teams in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, execute, and monitor project activities from start to finish.
  • Lead and manage field operations, operational priorities, and site activities.
  • Supervise field teams, contractors, and technical personnel to ensure productivity, discipline, and quality.
  • Monitor progress to ensure project delivery within scope, time, and budget.
  • Identify risks, solve problems, and implement prompt corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency across all tasks.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Strong project management abilities with a results-focused, problem-solving mindset.
  • Proven leadership in coordinating diverse workforces and managing large field teams.
  • Flexibility to navigate shifting timelines, changing priorities, and operational challenges.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills to maintain alignment between teams, management, and clients.
  • Demonstrated track record of efficient resource management and schedule control.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: 3–5 years of project management experience in telecommunications/fiber, construction, or related industries.

Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is an added advantage.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
