TrustLink Insurance Broker Limited is a Tanzanian-registered insurance intermediary established in January 2024 under the Companies Act, Cap 212 (R.E. 2002). The company was founded with a bold vision to transform the insurance landscape in the United Republic of Tanzania by expanding access to insurance solutions that are inclusive, reliable, and tailored to the needs of individuals, families, and businesses across the country.
On 27th May 2025, TrustLink Insurance Broker was officially licensed by the Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority (TIRA) to transact insurance business in both life and non-life classes, under License No. IB20250109. This authorization affirms our compliance with all regulatory standards and our readiness to operate as a trusted bridge between insurance providers and the public.

Duties/Responsibilities
Risk Assessment:
- Evaluate insurance applications, proposals, and related documentation to determine risk level.
Quotation and Pricing:
- Prepare a competitive insurance quotations in line with insurers’ underwriting policies.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with insurance companies on behalf of clients.
Policy Placement and Documentation:
- Assist in placing risks with suitable insurance providers
- Maintain underwriting records and ensure documentation is complete and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Liaison with Insurers and Clients:
- Act as the technical interface between the broker, client, and insurers.
- Clarify underwriting queries or requirements from insurers.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure underwriting decisions align with Trust Link’s internal risk management and compliance policies.
- Adhere to all regulatory and ethical guidelines as set by the Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority (TIRA).
Product Development Support:
- Contribute to the development of new insurance products and enhancement of existing offerings.
- Provide market feedback and underwriting data to support product innovation and competitiveness.
Training and Technical Support:
- Provide technical advice and training to junior staff or sales teams on underwriting standards and procedures.
- Assist in resolving complex underwriting and claim-related issues.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Insurance, Risk Management.
- Professional certification (e.g., CII, COP, AIIK) is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in underwriting in the insurance industry.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
