Stanbic Bank Tanzania is currently seeking a qualified and customer-focused individual to fill the position of Personal Banker based in Dodoma. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and building strong client relationships within the banking sector.
The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for International Personal Banking (IPB) clients, providing financial solutions through various channels including phone, email, and face-to-face interactions. The role requires a strong commitment to client centricity, continuous improvement, and adherence to governance processes.
Responsibilities
- Operate as the first point of contact for International Personal Banking (IPB) clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
- Offer appropriate financial solutions to clients within defined parameters and governance processes.
- Maintain a strong focus on client centricity and continuous service improvement.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Banking, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Personal Banking, Private Banking, or a similar banking/financial role.
- Candidates with strong customer service experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong customer relationship management skills.
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to manage difficult customer calls and resolve queries effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to adopt practical approaches and embrace change.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow procedures, generate ideas, and seize opportunities.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high professional standards.
