JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary:
The Dispatch Assistant supports the Outbay Head in the day-to-day activities of the dispatch section, focusing on the physical and administrative tasks required to prepare orders for shipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Preparation: Assist in picking, sorting, packing, and labeling products for shipment.
- Loading Support: Help in loading goods onto trucks in a manner that prevents damage during transit.
- Documentation Support: Prepare packing slips and assist in completing dispatch paperwork.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dispatch area.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a dispatch or warehouse role.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Physical fitness for lifting and moving goods.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: high school
