About the Opportunity
Precision Air Services Plc (“the Company”), a public company listed on the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE), invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to serve as a Minority Director on its Board of Directors.
The vacancy is for one (1) Minority Director representing members who collectively hold at least ten percent (10%) of the issued and fully paid-up share capital of the Company. The Director will be elected by shareholders in this category.
Qualified candidates will be presented for consideration and approval during the 6th Annual General Meeting to be held on 28th November 2025.
Key Duties and Responsibilities of a Director
- Provide strategic oversight to ensure the Company’s vision, mission, and objectives are achieved sustainably.
- Develop, approve, and monitor the implementation of corporate strategy, business plans, and performance targets.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, governance codes, and internal policies.
- Uphold ethical leadership, transparency, accountability, and integrity in decision-making.
- Monitor financial performance, risk management systems, and internal controls to safeguard shareholder value.
- Participate actively in Board and Committee meetings, adhere to fiduciary duties, and contribute effectively to governance.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must possess the following minimum qualifications and competencies:
- Education:
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related fields.
- Professional Certification:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and registered member of the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA).
- Experience:
- At least 10 years of experience in auditing, capacity building, or advisory services.
- Minimum 10 years of senior management or Board-level experience in aviation, transport, finance, or corporate sectors.
- Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong background in corporate governance, risk management, strategic planning, finance, legal, or aviation operations.
- Proven integrity, ethical conduct, and leadership qualities.
- No record of bankruptcy, criminal conviction, or disqualification from holding directorships.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Must meet the “fit-and-proper” criteria as outlined in the Companies Act (Cap. 212, R.E. 2022), Capital Markets and Securities Authority (CMSA) Guidelines, and DSE Listing Rules.
Note: Shareholding in Precision Air Services Plc is an added advantage. Applicants should include their CDS Account Number in the cover letter.

Term of Appointment
The successful candidate will serve for a three (3)-year term, subject to re-election or reappointment in accordance with the Company’s Articles of Association and Board Charter.
