JOB DETAILS:
We are looking for a MEP Technician to join our construction team for a high-rise residential building project in Dar es Salaam.
Job Responsibilities
The MEP Technician will be responsible for carrying out and supporting general MEP installation works on the construction site, including:
- Electrical installation works
- Plumbing and water supply & drainage systems
- Fire-fighting pipe installation
- Fire alarm system installation
- General MEP installation, maintenance and related site works
- Following construction drawings and instructions where required
- Working closely with other members of the construction team to ensure proper installation and completion of works
Requirements
- Previous experience in high-rise residential building construction is highly preferred.
- Practical experience in MEP installation or related building services will be an advantage.
- Candidates with experience in electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting or fire alarm installation are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum Secondary School / Form Four education.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must be a resident of Dar es Salaam.
- Hardworking, responsible, reliable and willing to learn.
- Able to work effectively as part of a construction team.
- Candidates with limited experience but with a strong interest in learning and developing professional MEP skills may also be considered.
