JOB DETAILS:

Laboratory Technologist (2 Positions)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze laboratory samples.
• Store samples requiring further analysis or referral to higher-level laboratories.
• Conduct inspections of laboratories, reagents, equipment, chemicals, and chemical storage facilities.
• Maintain laboratory records and examination results.
• Train subordinate staff.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor relevant to education, experience, and skills.

Qualifications:

• Holder of a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a college recognized by NACTE.
• Must possess a valid license recognized by the Tanzania Laboratory Professionals Council.
• Must not be employed.
• Must be ready to work at any assigned health facility.
• Must not have volunteered in Kyerwa District Council for more than two years.

Work Hours: 8

Level of Education: associate degree
