Job Description

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and problem-solving Hostess to serve as the welcoming face of our establishment in Mbeya. You will focus on delivering a high standard of guest reception, smooth floor flow, and exceptional customer service

Key Responsibilities

• Greet arriving guests with warmth, enthusiasm, and professionalism, directing them to appropriate areas or tables.
• Address initial guest inquiries, manage table reservations, and coordinate guest seating arrangements.
• Maintain a clean, presentable, and organized reception, entrance, and lobby area at all times.
• Coordinate closely with service, floor, and security teams to ensure guest requests are met promptly and safely.
• Handle minor guest complaints gracefully, escalating major issues to supervisors when necessary.
• Provide guests with detailed information regarding available services, events, promotions, and house amenities.
• Maintain accurate guest flow records, reservation logs, and VIP visitor tracking throughout the shift.
• Bid farewell to departing guests with courtesy, gathering quick feedback on their experience.

Requirements

• Certificate, diploma in Hospitality Management, Customer Service, or a related field.
• Previous experience as a hostess, receptionist, or customer service representative in hospitality or entertainment.
• Outstanding verbal communication, interpersonal presentation, and listening skills.
• Polished personal grooming, welcoming demeanor, and ability to handle busy environments calmly.
• Must be a female candidate based in or able to work in Mbeya.
