DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure compliance with security and health & safety objectives.
• Monitor and manage security systems and equipment maintenance.
• Lead and evaluate the performance of the security team.
• Facilitate effective communication between the security department and other organizational units.
• Maintain and enhance risk assessment mechanisms.
• Develop and implement security plans.
• Support other departments on security-related issues.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and appraisal of team members.
• Provide weekly reports as required.
• Develop and execute the organizations security strategy.
• Delegate tasks with supervision and accountability.
• Maintain accurate security records.
• Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
• Cooperate with all members, suppliers, and clients/customers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Security or related field.
• A total 5 to 7 years in security operations, preferably as a Security Manager or Head of Security in the manufacturing industry.
• Proven ability to manage medium-sized teams.
• Strict adherence to safety and security procedures.
• Strong network with police and government bodies.
• Experience in developing and implementing intelligence strategies.
• Leadership and team development skills.
• Proficient in using computers and Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Physically fit.
