KOM GROUP OF COMPANIES is hiring a Group Accountant to oversee financial operations across our diversified businesses, including manufacturing, agro-processing, trading, and related units. This is not just about posting entries; it is about owning the numbers, strengthening controls, ensuring compliance, and giving management clear financial insight across the entire group.

Responsibilities

You will handle:

• Consolidated group financial reporting
• Cost accounting and inventory control
• VAT, PAYE, WHT, SDL and Corporate Tax compliance
• Cash flow management and budgeting
• Strengthening internal controls and audit readiness

Qualifications and Requirements

We need someone who:

• Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Is CPA (T) or ACCA qualified or finalist
• Has 3–5+ years’ experience, ideally in manufacturing or group-level accounting
• Understands IFRS and Tanzanian tax laws
• Is analytical, disciplined, and slightly obsessed with accuracy
