Responsibilities or duties

A successful Escort Driver is responsible for transporting luggage from one location to another, ensuring timely and safe delivery of personal belongings for customers. This may involve deliveries to hotels, airports, residences, or other locations. The role requires excellent driving skills, physical stamina, and a customer-focused attitude.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items as necessary (bags may vary in weight).
• Strong communication skills for customer interaction.
• Basic knowledge of the local area and road systems.
• Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize deliveries.
• Physical stamina and attention to detail.

Experience needed

Proven experience in delivery or logistics (preferred but not required).

Working Conditions: The role involves working outdoors and driving for long hours, often in varied weather conditions. Occasional overtime may be required depending on delivery needs.

• Load bags into the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
• Follow an efficient delivery route to ensure timely delivery, using GPS or maps to find the best routes.
• Greet customers with professionalism, handle deliveries carefully, and ensure customer satisfaction with the products.
• Keep track of bags being delivered, ensure accurate delivery documentation, and report any discrepancies to the warehouse or supervisor.
• Keep the vehicle clean, fueled and functional. Regularly inspect the vehicle and report any maintenance issues or damage promptly.
• Maintain punctuality by arriving on time for pick-ups and ensuring bags and assigned tasks are delivered to their destinations according to schedule.
• Maintain a high level of discretion and professionalism while interacting with customers and employees. Respect confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with care.
• Address any issues or concerns during transport, such as delays, route changes, or passenger needs, and adapt accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and any other relevant information as required by the company.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols, ensuring that goods are delivered safely and on time.
