JOB DETAILS:
Duties and Responsibilities
- To provide description of irrigation and drainage systems;
- To describe physical features of irrigation and drainage systems;
- To describe biological environment of irrigation and drainage systems;
- To provide environmental and social advice and technical support to Irrigators organization at scheme level;
- To disseminate environmental and social management plans in irrigation schemes;
- To conduct environmental research on irrigation infrastructure maintenance;
- To update the environmental management procedures to irrigation sector;
- To participate in conducting environmental impact assessment for irrigation projects; and
- To perform any other related duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering or equivalent qualifications from any recognized institution. Must be registered with ERB as a Graduate Engineer
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 24
