Background
The Medical Officer In-Charge of the Regional Referral Hospital, Bukoba, invites qualified Tanzanians to apply for the following volunteer positions.
Responsibilities
Should have skills in oral and written communication, explaining solutions with transparency, using positive language and matching the customer's voice or feelings, and avoiding the use of difficult language that may confuse the customer. Should have time management skills and be able to multitask. Prioritize tasks to handle a large number of inquiries and follow up on incomplete issues without affecting the quality of service. Should have strong investigative skills to identify problems quickly and implement innovative and effective solutions while considering institutional policies. Should be able to listen to customer complaints patiently without interrupting, empathize with the customer to help them accept feelings of confusion and make the customer feel heard and valued. Should be faithful in ensuring he/she fulfills promises made to customers. Should be able to learn quickly to adapt to the Institution's internal policies to provide accurate information. Should be able to use a computer to manage customer relationships. For those who like to give suggestions/opinions/complaints via email. To follow up with the customer to see if they enjoyed the service they received, etc., if they have feedback about your service so they can return again. To perform other duties assigned by his/her superior related to his/her education, experience and skills.
Qualifications
Should have Form IV or VI education and have received training in Customer Service from a government-recognized college.
Additional Details
Employment is voluntary for a period of one year. After the one-year period ends, a volunteer youth who has demonstrated efficiency in performance may have their contract renewed.

- Must have two referees who are public servants.
- Must be ready to volunteer in the relevant area.
- Must not have been convicted by a Court for criminal or disciplinary offenses.
- Must have good conduct and behavior acceptable to society.
- Must not have been employed in any Public Institution since completing studies.
