We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Control & Instrumentation (C&I) Supervisor to join our Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading technical operations, supporting business development initiatives, and ensuring the successful execution of automation and instrumentation projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise Control & Instrumentation service, maintenance, calibration, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS systems, process instrumentation, and electrical control panels.
  • Ensure all engineering activities comply with applicable international standards, client specifications, and Company procedures.
  • Develop maintenance strategies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and engineering best practices.
  • Support automation upgrades, modernization projects, and system optimization for clients.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the mining, oil & gas, manufacturing, power, water, and infrastructure sectors.
  • Prepare technical proposals, quotations, tender documents, and customer presentations.
  • Participate in client meetings, technical discussions, and contract negotiations.
  • Promote compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) requirements across all engineering activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Registration with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) will be an added advantage.
  • Professional certifications in Industrial Automation or Instrumentation will be an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Control & Instrumentation, Industrial Automation, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven experience supervising engineering teams and managing technical projects.
  • Hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of industrial automation and instrumentation systems.
  • Experience in mining, oil & gas, manufacturing, water, power, or other process industries is highly preferred.

Preferred Technical Knowledge

Candidates with practical experience in the following technologies will have a distinct advantage:

  • Schneider Electric (EcoStruxure, Modicon PLC, Power Monitoring)
  • AVEVA (InTouch HMI, System Platform, Historian, SCADA)
  • Siemens (SIMATIC S7, TIA Portal, WinCC)
  • ABB (800xA, PLCs, Drives, and Instrumentation)
  • Rockwell Automation / Allen-Bradley (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, FactoryTalk)
  • VEGA Process Instrumentation
  • KROHNE Instrumentation
