About the Role

The Cane Supply Officer is responsible for ensuring a sustainable and uninterrupted supply of high-quality sugarcane to the mill.

The role involves implementing the country's cane supply strategy, maintaining strong relationships with growers, driving agricultural best practices and continuous improvement, coordinating cane logistics and yard operations, monitoring cane quality and harvesting-to-crushing timelines, leveraging group expertise, and ensuring full compliance with SHERQ standards while promoting a world-class safety culture.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum 2-year Diploma in Agriculture, Logistics, or Transport Management.
• SASRI Junior Certificate course, or willingness to complete the course during the first year of employment.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in agriculture or logistics.
• Preferred experience of 3 years as an Assistant Farm Manager.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-management skills.
