JOB DETAILS:
Background information about the job or company:
The Lecturer position is focused on delivering quality education in the fields of Climate Change, Disaster Risk Management, and Environmental Engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting lectures, tutorials, seminars, and practical sessions for undergraduate programs.
Responsibilities or duties:
- Undergoing an induction course in pedagogic skills
- Carrying out lectures, tutorials, seminars, and practicals
- Supervising undergraduate dissertations
- Preparing and presenting case studies
- Conducting and publishing/disseminating research results
- Recognizing students having difficulties and providing support
- Participating in research, consultancies, and community services
- Attending workshops, conferences, and symposia
- Performing other assigned duties
Qualifications or requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Climate Change, Disaster Risk Management, or Environmental Engineering with GPA of 4.0 and above
- Bachelor Degree in Climate Change, Disaster Risk Management, or Environmental Engineering with GPA of 3.8 or above
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: postgraduate degree
