Job Summary:

The Assistant Mechanic supports the senior mechanics in performing vehicle maintenance and repairs. This is a role for a developing technician to gain hands-on experience and build their skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior mechanics with diagnostics, repairs, and services.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake pad replacements, and filter changes.
• Help with the disassembly and reassembly of vehicle components.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Handle tools and equipment responsibly and assist with inventory management.
• Learn and apply new repair techniques and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in an automotive workshop or a relevant technical diploma.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and tools.
• Eagerness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• A valid driver's license is often preferred.
