The AI Business Analyst & Adoption role translates business needs into clear, measurable AI requirements and helps staff use approved solutions effectively. The role maps processes, defines user and acceptance needs, supports use-case assessment, and coordinates training, change and adoption activities. It connects technical delivery with practical business outcomes, while retaining human decision responsibilities, responsible use and evidence-based benefits tracking.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Engage business teams to identify problems, current workflows, decision points and customer or staff needs before proposing AI solutions.
  • Distinguish AI needs from simpler reporting, rules or process improvements and document feasible options with technical colleagues.
  • Prepare use-case intake, business requirements, user journeys and acceptance criteria with named business owners and intended users.
  • Document expected benefits, current baselines, costs and measurement assumptions with business owners and Finance.
  • Identify data requirements, source owners, access needs and quality gaps with data teams; escalate unresolved dependencies.
  • Define human review, exception handling, escalation and customer-impact requirements with business and governance stakeholders.
  • Translate requirements into prioritised delivery items and maintain traceability through design, testing and business acceptance.
  • Support prototypes and demonstrations, capture user feedback and assess whether proposed solutions address the original business need.
  • Coordinate user acceptance tests, representative business scenarios, defects and business-owner sign-off; do not substitute these for independent validation.
  • Prepare change-impact assessments, communication plans, user guidance and training for approved AI and Microsoft Copilot use.
  • Work with HR communications and business champions to deliver training, gather feedback and support practical adoption.
  • Measure active use, task completion, output quality, user satisfaction and business-process changes against agreed baselines.
  • Investigate low adoption or unsafe workarounds and coordinate corrective actions with product, delivery and governance owners.
  • Maintain requirements, acceptance and adoption records; report benefit evidence separately from forecasts, training attendance and licence allocation.
  • Support AI governance activities by ensuring business requirements, intended use, human oversight requirements, and adoption considerations are appropriately documented and communicated to governance stakeholders.
  • Continuously identify opportunities where approved AI capabilities can improve efficiency, customer experience, decision-making, or risk management across business functions.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement, project updates, executive reporting, and adoption reviews to ensure alignment between business objectives and AI initiatives.
  • Maintain a repository of approved AI use cases, lessons learned, adoption outcomes, and best practices to support continuous organizational learning and reuse.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Organizational Development, or a related discipline.
  • A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Information Systems, Business Analytics, Digital Transformation, Artificial Intelligence, Technology Management, or a related field will be an added advantage.
  • Professional certifications or training in Business Analysis, Change Management, Process Improvement, Project Management, Artificial Intelligence, Microsoft Copilot, Digital Transformation, Agile Methodologies, or related disciplines will be an added advantage.
  • Business analysis, change management, process improvement or relevant AI training is an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis, change management, digital transformation, AI adoption, technology implementation, or business process improvement initiatives.
  • Skills in requirements analysis, process mapping, user acceptance testing and stakeholder facilitation.
  • Ability to interpret data, define performance measures and communicate AI limitations simply.
  • Experience preparing training materials and monitoring adoption; banking process knowledge is an advantage.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, user stories, process maps, use cases, business cases, and acceptance criteria for digital or technology initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, machine learning concepts, and responsible AI principles.
  • Experience coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT), stakeholder engagement activities, training programmes, and organizational change initiatives.
  • Engage business teams to identify problems, current workflows, decision points and customer or staff needs before proposing AI solutions.
  • Distinguish AI needs from simpler reporting, rules or process improvements and document feasible options with technical colleagues.
  • Prepare use-case intake, business requirements, user journeys and acceptance criteria with named business owners and intended users.
