Description/Details
Precision Air is offering one exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Tools Control and Customer Key Account Engineer to join a structured training program. This role focuses on monitoring tools and equipment to ensure they remain in working order, preventing maintenance delays, and providing high-standard services to third-party Maintenance & Engineering (M&E) customers.
Responsibilities:
- Learn proper tool receipt procedures, including verifying delivery notes, conducting QA inspections, and addressing discrepancies.
- Identify and track tools by part and serial numbers, ensuring proper tagging (serviceable or unserviceable) and maintaining service history documentation.
- Ensure tools requiring calibration are serviced on time, coordinating with procurement for timely delivery.
- Issue tools accurately and procedurally to end users for maximum satisfaction.
- Act as a focal point for reviewing terms and conditions for third-party customers, highlighting areas for improvement.
- Learn to prepare quotations and process purchase orders for materials and maintenance services.
- Attend inter-departmental meetings to ensure timely and high-standard service delivery to customers.
- Develop technical knowledge to assist in sales and negotiations, securing and renewing orders.
- Identify and communicate areas for improvement to upper management.
- Adhere to safety and security protocols, referencing the Safety Management Manual (SMM) Doc ref. PW/CM/002, and perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Skills:
- Demonstrated ability during attachment periods.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and Maintenance & Engineering procedures.
- Competence in engineering practices.
Qualifications Required:
- Graduate from a recognized university in Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering, Aeronautical/Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, or equivalent.
- At least one year of working experience in Maintenance and Engineering.
