Responsibilities or duties
1. Financial & Administrative Coordination
- Liaise with the Finance team to ensure all completed jobs are accurately captured and invoiced in a timely manner.
- Track job completion status, billing readiness, and internal updates to support precise revenue assurance.
- Maintain oversight of administrative workflows and processes, ensuring visibility and efficiency (without responsibility for document preparation or issuance).
2. Data Auditing
- Conduct regular audits of client dashboards to ensure the accuracy, relevance, and completeness of data.
- Validate that operational results align with information presented on client-facing dashboards.
- Review updates performed by the Operations Account Manager for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards.
3. Operational and Commercial Support
- Shadow the Operations Account Manager to learn core operational processes including daily planning, journey management, escalation protocols, and client coordination.
- Provide basic coverage for the Operations Account Manager during absences to ensure continuous, uninterrupted service delivery.
- Collaborate with the Commercial Account Manager on routine client management tasks and follow-ups.
- Develop a solid understanding of commercial structures, pricing models, client expectations, and account-specific requirements.
- Serve as a secondary point of contact for clients on routine matters as needed.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a coordination point between Operations, Commercial, and Finance functions to support unified communication and workflow alignment.
- Support smooth handovers, accurate reporting, and consistent execution across departments.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (Freight Forwarding / Logistics)
- Knowledge on clearance of cargo under different regimes in Tanzania
- Proper use of Microsoft Office tools and/or Google packages
