Job Summary

Mar-Kim Uniplast Co Ltd is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with 5-7 years of professional experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Records: Maintain general ledger, journals, and ensure all transactions are properly recorded
• Payables & Receivables: Manage vendor payments, customer invoicing, and follow-ups
• Payroll: Prepare monthly payroll, NSSF, PAYE, WCF, SDL calculations and statutory submissions
• Banking: Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow
• Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L, Balance Sheet, and budget vs actual reports
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with TRA, NSSF, and other regulatory requirements
• Audit: Support internal and external audits with required documentation
• Inventory & Costing: Work with production team on stock valuation and cost control for Uniplast operations

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: 5 - 7 years in accounting, preferably in manufacturing/industrial company
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA(T) / ACCA is an added advantage
• Skills: Strong knowledge of Excel, QuickBooks/SAP/Oracle, and MS Office
• Knowledge: Tanzanian tax laws, IFRS, and statutory compliance
• Attributes: Analytical, accurate, trustworthy, and able to work with deadlines
