JOB DETAILS:
Site Lifting Specialist
Tanzania
12 Months (Renewable)

Key Responsibilities
• Serve as a technical advisor for lifting operations, promoting safe practices in line with HSE policies and international standards.
• Oversee lifting and cargo personnel and drive a strong safety culture on-site.
• Participate in setting and auditing Lifting Management Systems (LMS) with the CPLO.
• Report critical lifts and anomalies, ensuring alignment with local procedures and regulations.
• Guide contractors on HSE expectations for lifting activities and manage documentation, processes, and competency for reliable operations.
• Ensure compliance with Tanzanian regulations and project standards for construction and site activities.
• Support and improve lifting and handling operations, providing expertise in common and heavy lifting for drilling, projects, and logistics.

Qualifications and Experience
• Minimum of 10 years in the lifting industry, with supervisory experience.
• Technical qualifications in the industry (e.g., LEEA, OPTIO, EAL, CPA).
• In-depth knowledge of lifting equipment and standards, including international guidelines (e.g., BS, LOLER)
