JOB DETAILS:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• To collect, manage, and maintain spatial data from various sources;
• To perform spatial analysis and create maps to support research projects;
• To assist in the development and maintenance of GIS databases;
• To create high-quality maps and visualizations for research reports and presentations;
• To ensure accuracy and consistency in map production;
• To assist researchers with GIS-related tasks and provide technical support; and
• To collaborate with team members to integrate GIS data into research workflows.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Holder of Bachelor's Degree in Geographical Information System and Geoinformatics from recognized institutions with a minimum of an Upper Second Class. Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS or similar tools is an added advantage.
