Provision Of External Anti-Corrossion Painting Of Tanks NO. S2, S3, S12 AND S13

1. Tanzania International Petroleum Reserves Co Ltd (TIPER) is a bulk storage facility for Petroleum Products with its shares divided equally between the Government of Tanzania and Oryx Energies SA of Switzerland. The Company office is located at Kigamboni Industrial Area, Depot site-plot 1, Dar es Salaam-Tanzania.
2. TIPER hereby invites via National Competitive Bidding (NCB) experienced and reputable mechanical contractors(eligible) to bid for the Provision of External Anti-Corrosion Painting of Tanks No. S2, S3, S12 and S13
3. Eligible bidders are reputable and experienced contractors registered by the Contractors Registration Board (CRB) in mechanical engineering with class II and above. Bidders MUST have at least five (5) years of experience.
4. Bidders who don’t meet condition stated in line 3 above are not eligible to bid for this tender.
5. Interested and eligible bidders may request an electronic copy of the tender document by sending their signed and stamped application letters) and copies of CRB certificates through the following email: procurement@tiper.co.tz from date 15 July, 2024 to 26 July, 2024 between 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
6. Bidders MUST visit the site before bidding. The site visit will be conducted on Thursday 18 July, 2024 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm local time.
7. During the site visit all bidders will be required to come with their own PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) which meets TIPER standards. This includes Steel Toe Safety Boots, Cotton Overcoat, and Static Reflective vests are not allowed onto site. Bidders without PPE will not be allowed onto the site.
8. Bids MUST be submitted in hard copies only in envelopes sealed with postal seals or fire seals. Softcopies of bids should be submitted via a USB flash driver embedded in the hardcopies of bid submitted. No bid should be submitted by email.
9. All bids submitted in plain sealed envelopes in one original plus one copy, properly filled and marked TENDER NO.TP/06/2024/NCB/W/018 FOR PROVISION OF EXTERNAL ANTI-CORROSSION PAINTING OF TANKS NO. S2, S3, S12 AND All bids must be delivered physically to: The Secretary, Tender Committee, Tanzania International Petroleum Reserves Limited (TIPER), P.O. Box 2608, Kigamboni, Dar es Salaam.
10. The deadline for submission of Tender documents will be 4.00 P.M. local time on 29 July, 2024.
11. There shall be NO public opening of bids.
12. Late bids, a portion of bids, and electronic bids will not be considered for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
13. TIPER is not bound to accept the lowest or any bid.
