Korfovouni Seedpro (KSP) is an agricultural company, located in the Arumeru District, near Arusha on the foothills of Mt. Meru (about 2,300 mt). The company is specialized in production and selling Cyclamen, Primula seeds for the company in the Netherlands.

To attain its mission and vision, Korfovouni Seedpro Ltd is seeking to recruit dynamic, experienced, competent and qualified Tanzanian expert to fill below vacant posts (2) within the company.

1.0 Plant Production In-charge
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Production In-Charge to oversee the daily production operations at our flower farm. The successful candidate will be responsible for steering plant production processes in the allocated crop, optimizing yield, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met. This role requires expertise in crop production, staff supervision, and a strong understanding of modern horticultural techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
• Crop Management: Oversee all aspects of flower cultivation, irrigation, fertilization and climate control
• Quality Control: Ensure all plants meet the farm’s quality standards, monitoring health and growth throughout the production cycle.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and train his/her team, ensuring efficient workflows and adherence to farm protocols.
• Pest & Disease Management: Collaborate with the crop protection team to identify and manage pest and disease outbreaks, ensuring healthy plant production.
• Data Reporting: Maintain accurate records of crops, input usage, and climate data, providing reports to the manager as needed.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for all farm personnel.

Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Diploma/Degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Crops production or a similar horticultural role.

Skills & Attributes:
• Strong knowledge of flower cultivation techniques.
• Experience with irrigation systems and greenhouse production.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in data processing and use of excel is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
