JOB DETAILS:
Duties and responsibilities
• To carry out lectures, conduct tutorials, seminars and practical for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes;
• To set, invigilate and mark undergraduate and postgraduate examinations;
• To mentor junior staff in relevant fields;
• To participate/contribute in curriculum development;
• To participate in developing and managing various university activities;
• To conduct research and publish/disseminate results;
• To carry out consultancy and community services;
• To write teaching manuals and compendia;
• To supervise field practicals, undergraduate special projects, masters and phd dissertations/theses;
• To attend/organize workshops, conferences and symposia; and
• To perform any work of the university as assigned by relevant authorities.

Qualification and experience
• Phd in biochemistry with a focus in biological topics, master of science in biochemistry or animal science or veterinary medicine or medicine or microbiology or chemistry and bachelor of science in biochemistry or chemistry and biology or veterinary medicine or animal science or medicine.
