JOB DETAILS:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• To carry out lectures, conduct tutorials, seminars and practical for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes;
• To set, invigilate and mark undergraduate and postgraduate examinations;
• To mentor junior staff in relevant fields;
• To participate/contribute in curriculum development;
• To participate in developing and managing various university activities;
• To conduct research and publish/disseminate results;
• To carry out consultancy and community services;
• To write teaching manuals and compendia;
• To supervise field practicals, undergraduate special projects, Masters and PhD dissertations/theses;
• To attend/organize workshops, conferences and symposia;
• To perform any work of the University as assigned by relevant authorities
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
PhD in Economics and Master of Arts in Economics or Economics and Statistics and Bachelor of Arts in Economics or Economics and Statistics. The candidate must demonstrate to have studied and passed Microeconomics courses at all degree levels.
REMUNERATION PUTS 3.3
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 48
