JOB DETAILS:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Grants and Impact Manager (gn) to lead our grant acquisition and management efforts. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our projects are well-funded and effectively implemented, maximizing our impact in the field of conservation.
Your Tasks
• Grant Acquisition: Identify, research, and apply for grant opportunities from various funding sources, including government agencies, foundations, and international organizations
• Project Management: Oversee the development and implementation of grant-funded projects, ensuring compliance with donor requirements and organizational standards
• Impact Assessment: Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the effectiveness of funded projects and report on outcomes to stakeholders
• Collaboration: Work closely with project teams to provide guidance on grant-related matters and ensure alignment with organizational goals
• Capacity Building: Provide training and support to staff on grant writing, management, and reporting best practices
Your Profile
• Degree in environmental science, conservation, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in grant management, preferably in the conservation or non-profit sector
• Proven track record in developing successful grant proposals and managing donor relationships
• Strong analytical skills and experience in impact monitoring, evaluation methodologies and reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams etc.)
• Ability to work independently under minimum supervision
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
