JOB DETAILS:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• To plan and execute geophysical exploration studies using different geophysical methods
• To be responsible for identifying and assessing the potential geothermal fields
• To undertake monitoring studies on geothermal fields
• To perform borehole geophysical logging and data interpretations
• To process geophysical data and interpretation using computer Geo-software and preparing geophysical reports
• To perform data integration for developing geothermal conceptual models
• To collaborate with other geoscientists at TGDC and consultants to develop geothermal conceptual models
• To site suitable locations for drilling as well as depth to the reservoir
• To perform any other official duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisors

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor degree in Geophysics, Geothermal, Geology, Geosciences, Geology and Geothermal Exploration, or Earth Sciences. Possession of Post Graduate Degree in Geophysics, Geothermal Sciences, Geoscience, or Earth Sciences will be an added advantage.
