JOB DETAILS:
Responsibilities;
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage the budgeting process, creating financial forecasts, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Management Reporting (Internal and Group): Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) and variances against budgets.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to align financial strategies with overall business objectives. Provide recommendations based on financial analysis.
• Performance Analysis: Evaluate company performance by analyzing financial and operational data. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial outcomes. Performing ad-hoc analysis where required to assist in management decision-making.
• Cost Management: Monitor and control costs, identifying areas for efficiency improvements. Assist in optimizing resources allocation.
• Variance Analysis: Conduct in-depth variance analysis to explain discrepancies between actual results, budget, and forecasts. Recommend corrective actions if necessary.
• Decision Support: Provide financial insights and guidance to support decision-making processes. Work closely with other departments to understand and address their financial needs.
• Forecast Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial forecasts and models.
• Communication: Effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders, helping them understand the financial implications of their decisions.
• Compliance: Ensure financial practices and reporting comply with relevant regulations, company policy and procedures, and accounting standards.
• Team Leadership and development: Manage and lead a team of financial analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• To perform any other related duties assigned by Chief Financial Officer
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or other equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
• Qualified Accountant (CPA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Five (5) experience in Tax and prior role similar.
• Strong experience working as business partner in delivering better decision support and enabling strategic initiatives which help improve the organization’s financial performance.
• Excellent in analytical skills as well as strong business acumen.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax related matters.
