Job Purpose and Key responsibilities

Job Purpose
The job holder will be responsible for maintaining existing relationships with banks and generating new leads for Banc assurance business.

Key Responsibilities
• Participate in securing new business through the banks
• Undertake customer account and relationship management for Banc assurance business
• Carry out marketing activities for Banc assurance products
• Ensure customer documentation is complete and in compliance with the requirements.
• Follow-up renewals to ensure business retention are optimised and the prescribed retention ratio is achieved
• Handle customer complaints, written or verbal
• Train bank officers on Britam products to enable them sell effectively.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

• Accountable to the Sales Manager-Banc assurance
• Required to liaise and work closely with the other departments as may be necessary

• Bachelors’ degree (Marketing option preferred)
• Professional qualification in Insurance (CII certificate or equivalent)
• At least four years’ experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of Insurance Industry and concepts
