Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our team. This role involves analyzing and interpreting data to guide business decisions, develop strategic insights, and support our advisory services. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, a passion for problem-solving, and a deep understanding of data management and interpretation.

Responsibilities:
• Collect, organize, and interpret data for various projects, including economic research, market analysis, and client advisory.
• Perform statistical analysis to identify trends and generate insights relevant to business development and investment opportunities in Tanzania.
• Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to communicate findings to team members and clients effectively.
• Collaborate with TICGL’s project teams to understand their data needs and support them with actionable insights.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the fields of economic analysis, business intelligence, or investment advisory.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, STATA SPSS, SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data findings in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
