CALL FOR BIDDERS (CONSTRUCTION OF 100 CBM BIODIGESTER)
Tanzania Human Development Foundation (TAHUDE Foundation) and Scientists and Engineers Without Borders (SEWB, Korea) hereby invite
bidders for construction of one hundred cubic meters (100 cbm) biodigester for production of biogas using cow dung at Arusha Vocational Training
Center in Arusha, Tanzania. The construction activities must begin by 30th, September 2024 and be completed within 2 months.
The bidder should propose the price of each item including TAX as listed in the table below; the TOTAL should NOT exceed 165,350,000
Tanzanian Shilling including TAX. This project is sponsored by the Gyeonggi-do Province of the Republic of South Korea.
Since this project is government-to-government project between Korea and Tanzania, SAFETY is the top priority along the construction and during
the usage by school and households. All construction processes must follow safety rules and all hazards must be checked “multiple times” in every
part, in every process. Safety managers must be present during the construction and operation test period.

->Total 200mx 11=2,200m
->About 2,200-long pipeline would be needed, but exact and total length will be changeable depending on the site we select.
(4)10 ton main storage tank will be installed beside the digester.

[Important Note]
1All of the construction, labor, transport, official operation test fee, and all other additional fee should be included in the total construction fee.
(2)16 gas flow meters are provided by Gyeonggi Provincial Office, but installation of all of the gas flow meters must be performed by a
construction company and must be included in the total construction cost.
(3)Even if the total pipe length exceeds 2,200m, additional costs must be covered by the construction company.
(4)If construction is not completed within 2 months without prior agreement, the total construction cost will be reduced by 3% per day. However,
some extensions are possible upon prior agreement.
(5)During the Construction period of 2 months, testing the facilities multiple times and checking & solving safety issues thoroughly should be
included.
(6) The construction company should supervise and repair the problems during the 2 months of official operation test period since it’s directly related
to the safety.
(7) There should be 1 year of A/S period after the completion of construction.
(8) Measures must be taken to prevent theft during construction.
