JOB DETAILS:
Position: Biomedical Engineer
Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
TanzaniaDepartment: TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the supply, installation, and servicing of biomedical equipment in healthcare or laboratory settings.
2. Provide technical support and training to clients on the operation and safety of medical devices.
3. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment safety and functionality.
4. Collaborate with procurement teams and vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality biomedical equipment.
5. Maintain detailed records of service history, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
6. Identify and negotiate with suppliers to improve cost-efficiency and enhance equipment quality.

Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
2. Experience: At least two years of professional experience in biomedical engineering, focusing on medical and laboratory equipment supply and maintenance.
3. Skills: Expertise in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of medical devices; solid understanding of industry standards and regulatory compliance.
4. Certification: Professional certification in biomedical engineering (preferred but not mandatory).
5. Other: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with excellent communication skills.
