Job Summary
The Airtel Money Business Support Officer will acquire and manage business partners who utilize disbursement and collection accounts. The role requires strategic sales execution, strong relationship management, and negotiation skills to onboard new accounts and ensure active transaction volumes from the moment of wallet creation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Acquisition & Onboarding
• Identify, pitch, and onboard businesses to utilize disbursement and collection accounts.
• Ensure seamless onboarding and account activation.
2. Sales Target Achievement
• Meet assigned targets for account activation and transaction volume within the onboarding period.
3. Market Research & Lead Generation
• Conduct market research to identify prospective business partners.
• Generate and maintain a strong pipeline of leads.
4. Relationship Management
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to maximize account usage and retention.
5. Product Education
• Educate partners on the benefits and functionalities of Airtel Money’s disbursement and collection accounts.
6. Performance Monitoring
• Track and analyze account activity to ensure early-stage transactions and revenue growth.
7. Collaboration
• Work with internal teams (Product Development, Operations, Compliance, and Finance) to enhance partner onboarding and service efficiency.
8. Reporting & Insights
• Provide regular reports on acquisition progress, transaction volumes, and market insights.
• Ensure daily integration reports are submitted by 5 p.m., weekly reports by Friday COB, and project reviews as required.
Decision Level
• Prime: Final decision-making authority, accountable to management.
• Shared: Joint decision-making with peers on a collective basis.
• Contributory: Significant contribution to policy decisions made by others.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Timely completion of Airtel Money for Enterprise Biller Portal Migration projects.
• Proactive communication regarding project delivery challenges.
• Accurate and timely submission of daily, weekly, and ad-hoc reports.
Qualifications & Experience
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Business Administration, Computer Science, or Telecommunications.
• Experience:
• Minimum 3+ years in key account management, business development, or sales (preferably in fintech, banking, or financial services).
• Knowledge of application development, APIs, and integration processes.
• Strong understanding of database systems and mobile money operations.
