JOB DETAILS:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Making, Sewing, Maintaining and Repairing fishing tools;
• Maintaining and checking fish ponds;
• Setting traps in the Lake or Sea;
• Making small nets;
• Giving food to fish in ponds;
• Fishing in ponds;
• Giving advice to fishermen about various fishing methods;
• Collecting fishing statistics from fish receiving stations;
• Giving advice on fish conservation and methods of distribution and sale of fish products; and
• To educate the public about fish farming and the important things to consider.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Recruiting fourth or sixth form graduates with a diploma (Diploma) in Fisheries (Fisheries) or Fish Processing & Marketing (Fish Processing & Marketing) from fisheries colleges in Mbegani, Kunduchi or other colleges recognized by the Government.
