JOB DETAILS:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• To control and prevent disease outbreaks.
• Fighting and preventing insects and animals that spread diseases.
• Managing the burial of unidentified corpses and those resulting from infectious diseases.
• To prepare various information on Environmental Health at the ward level and submit it to the relevant authorities.
• To collect and analyze Environmental Health statistics, in the ward and provide feedback to take appropriate action.
• To provide environmental health education to the community.
• To inspect the environment in places where food is made to ensure the safety and health of the community.
• Administering environmental health laws at the Ward level as well as assisting the community in developing by-laws.
• To motivate the community in improving water sources and Sanitation.
• To sensitize the community about the implementation of Primary Health Services at the Ward level.
• To do other tasks assigned to him by his head of work related to his education, experience and skills.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Employed with a Diploma in Environmental Health Science from a college recognized by the Government.
