JOB DETAILS:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Doing all the medical work in the hospital related to oral and dental diseases.
• Providing and managing oral and dental health education.
• To improve the health of the mouth and teeth in his workplace and society.
• Sealing/repairing teeth, surgery, teeth making, orthodontics.
• Supervising the employees under him.
• Investigating, monitoring and preventing disease outbreaks.
• Teaching students in health colleges located in his workplace.
• Designing and conducting research and disseminating results.
• Designing and preparing strategies to improve the quality of service in his field.
• Prepare plans and budget estimates for oral and dental health services.
• Sharing, reviewing and improving health services.
• To provide outreach services in his district/region.
• Maintaining statistics and using them as directed in MTUHA principles.
• Planning and evaluating oral and dental health services in the workplace.
• Conducting research in various areas of oral and dental health.
• To do other tasks assigned to him by his head of work related to his education, experience and skills.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Employed with a degree in oral and dental surgery from colleges recognized by the government who have completed "Internship" and registered with the Council of Tanganyika Doctors.
